GROWING IN FAITH
This course is for those who are already on their Christian journey and welcome an opportunity to reflect on the nature of Christian discipleship and deepen their understanding of the Christian faith.
Like the "Follower Stage" each of the 4 Pilgrim courses consists of six sessions. The first of these, entitled "The Creeds" looks at the nature of Christian belief. Under the guidance of a leader, participants are invited to share what they believe, discuss how it affects their faith and their daily life, and look at specific issues as suggested in the excellent handbook.
The course will run from Wednesday 11th October beginning at 7.30pm and we will meet in St Peter’s Church Hall (at the top of Gold Hill). If you would like to take part or would like further information, please contact Rev John Fuller on 01747 850079.

A service of thanksgiving, celebration and re-dedication marking 40 years since the re-opening of St Peter's Church took place on the 2nd July, with the Rt Revd Karen Gorham, Bishop of Sherborne.
The service was followed by a celebration tea; thanks to Mike Bailey for providing some photographic mementoes of the event, a few can be enjoyed here - showing off the inventive and wonderful work that went in to the flower festival which also took place at St Peter's that weekend.
