There will be a Service of Thanksgiving and Remembrance at St Mary’s, Motcombe on  Thursday 2nd November at 7.00pm, and A Time to Remember at St Peter’s on Sunday 5th November at 4.00pm.

Both will be simple services of reflection, prayer and thanksgiving for those we love but see no longer. At St Peter’s there will be time after the service to enjoy tea and cake and to share memories.

The custom of coming together around the time of All Souls’ Day for a quiet service of prayer and reflection is well established in many churches. Anyone who would like to attend is very welcome at either service.

On Sunday 19th November, at 2.30pm there will be an illustrated talk by Matthew Lacey - Partner in Bonhams Auctioneers. Tickets include tea and cake and are £6.00 from Jo Churchill - Click on the link for the poster and more details.  St John's Antique Poster
