St Peter’s Church is holding a Flower Festival between Friday 30th June and Sunday 2nd July, as part of the celebrations of 40 years since St Peter's Re-Hallowing.

“ ABANDONED - then - RE-BORN “ arrangements will depict the life of St Peter's and opening times are:

Friday 30th June 10am to 4pm
Sat 1st July 10am to 4pm
Sun 2nd July 11.30am to 2pm


On Saturday July 1st at 7.30pm, the choir of St Peter's, with additional singers, will be singing part of Karl Jenkins' Mass of the Armed Man, with other items. We rehearse at 6.45pm on Thursday evenings in the church and would welcome some extra singers, in all voices. Join us at St Peter's Church for services through Holy Week and Easter: Maundy Thursday - 7.30pm 'Sacred Space' Communion followed by Vigil. Good Friday - 12noon All Age Worship, 1pm Silent Prayer, 2pm Devotions, 6pm The Cross of Christ - a service of music, readings and prayer for Good Friday. Easter Day - 8am BCP Holy Communion, 9.30am Family Festival Communion. We look forward to welcoming you.

St. Peter’s Children’s Easter craft activities

The Sunday club workers are putting on a craft activity morning on Wednesday of Holy week.  The session is running from 10:00 - 11:30am and aimed at primary aged children. We hope people will drop in, enjoy a cup of tea and cake and stay with their children who will be entertained with many craft activities available.  The morning is free with an opportunity to make a donation.
