Message from Rosemary Saxey: Due to the recent adverse weather, the Women's World Day of Prayer services in Shaftesbury were cancelled, or those that went ahead were with small congregations, resulting in very little being given to support the WWDP charities. The service sheets will be available on Sunday 11th March so those who missed the service can have them and donate then if they wish. Thanks, Rosemary Saxey.
Our Music Director is (sadly) leaving us for personal reasons, so St Peter's is looking for an excellent organist and choir director to take us on to the next stage of our musical life and ministry. We are looking for a great colleague to work collaboratively with the Rector and others, providing musical leadership that enhances our mission and enriches our worship. This is a part-time post, covering three Sundays per month, specified festivals, occasional offices (for which additional fees are paid), and a weekly choir practice. St Peter's is a friendly, outward-looking church with a regular congregation of about 100. For more details, see the advert and job description attached.
