St Luke’s West Orchard

St Luke’s Church (SP7 0LJ) is a focal point in the centre of our small rural village.

Parishioners feel strongly that our church should remain open and even though not all are regular attendees they are willing to help maintain and fundraise.

Services currently take place on the second Sunday of every month alternating Holy Communion and Morning Worship, both at 11.15am, to which all are welcome.

We take turns with St Margaret’s Church, Margaret Marsh (SP7 0AZ) to host our annual services which includes Carols, Christingle, Christmas Day Communion, Mothering Sunday, Easter Sunday, Harvest and Rogation Sunday and we usually enjoy some refreshment afterwards.

Our strength is our community who cherish time together and are there to support one another.

We will be looking at how the church building, with the support of its regular congregation can provide a more welcoming, functional and comfortable space for the community it serves.
