This week Pilgrim has been walking late into the afternoon, and he hasn’t realised how dark it was becoming. Suddenly he sees an extraordinary light and sight in the sky. What looks like angels with trumpets heralding the approach of something – but what?
It seems to be like a whirling Catherine wheel of light, showering sparks in all directions, getting larger and brighter as it comes towards him. It certainly is not the baby he might have expected at this time of year; it resembles a sparkling crown – of thorns maybe? – but certainly vibrant, alive, attractive and full of energy – a life force perhaps?
