Wednesdays 10.30am Holy Communion
If you're coming with children we will do our best to welcome your whole family and put you at ease so you all have the opportunity to experience God's presence as we worship. We know babies sometimes cry and toddlers wander around and chat in the quiet bits - don't worry, many of us have been there ourselves! You are welcome to feed your baby and to bribe your toddler with breadsticks in church as you see fit.
If you have mobility issues or another disability, please let our welcomers know as you arrive so we can help in the ways you find most useful. We will gladly move a chair to create a wheelchair space. If it's a communion service we will be delighted to bring you communion at your seat - you won't be the only one and we won't think you're making a fuss. We always have a couple of large print service sheets and we have a loop system if you use a hearing aid.
When the service ends, it's OK if you just want to slip out quietly, although someone will probably try and say hello as you go. On the first Sunday of the month, at our All Age Worship service there are refreshments. If you've got time, do stay for coffee and a bit of a chat. We make proper coffee (tea for those who prefer) and we'd love to get to know you, even if you're just visiting.
Other forms of Ministry
A service of Holy Communion is held regularly in St Denis Lodge Care Home. Members of the team are also able to take communion to those who are unable to come to Church. If you wish to arrange this, please contact one of the clergy, or leave a message with the Team Administrator.
Healing Ministry - A service of Healing Prayer is held on the first Friday of each month at 10.30am.
