It's going to be another great 'Great get Together' in St James as it has been in past years.
Gardens will be open for you to marvel at places of peace, tranquillity and beauty. On Saturday cold drinks and homemade biscuits will be available at the Millennium Community Garden in St James Street. There are benches and tables and shady places if needed – and lovely views. On Sunday, in the church, there will be ‘vintage teas’ provided, donations going to the Jo Cox memorial fund, with beautiful old china, sandwiches, cakes and trifles.
This is a community event as well as a fund raising event and it’s a lovely opportunity to again come together; a good chance to talk, to get to know more local people and to realise just how St James community is a welcoming place in which to live and visit.
Ticket admission of £6 per person covers both days and unlimited entry. Children under 12 are free. Tickets from 30 St James Street, participating gardens or the Tourist Information in Bell Street.
Also The Two Brewers are giving 10% discount for the two days if you present your ticket.
All in aid of St James Church and the Jo Cox Fund.
